Brand Design
We dive deep and get to know the ins and outs of your business so that we can thoughtfully develop a unique identity from the ground up. Before I even start the design process, each project is approached by always figuring out your ‘why’. You’ll find the discovery portion of the process to be thorough and an absolute essential in order to have a successful project. I will ask you the important questions in a detailed questionnaire and it will prepare us as we jump into design. It’s imperative for you to understand that we don’t simply create a ‘pretty’ logo without having a strong foundation to work from.
I consider our work together a creative partnership in elevating your business. Design is a worthwhile investment in bettering how your people receive your brand, and I take my role in supporting you seriously (but we have some fun too!). Together, we build a relationship and work collaboratively on this exciting journey!

Start by filling out an inquiry form to let me know that you’re interested in working together. We’ll schedule a time to chat and see if we’re a good fit, while also making sure that the studio’s availability and skillset matches your need.

Once you’ve approved a proposal for your project, you’ll sign a contract and send a non-refundable 50% deposit to hold your spot in my work schedule.

You’ll complete a questionnaire that digs deep into the reasons behind your project, then I’ll craft a brand strategy specifically to your needs. This is a good starting point to make sure we're on the same page and forms the foundation for the design process.

After creating multiple concepts, I pick the strongest one and present it to you via an in-depth concept presentation that includes a primary logo, secondary logo, mark(s), font system, colour palette. This means you'll be able to see your brand elements applied in digital and printed environments to give you a better idea of what your brand will look when used in the wild.

Your feedback is another important part of the process! There will be two rounds of refinements to improve the initial concept until they are just right before we move into implementation.

Item descriptiAs the project is nearing end, you’ll be ready to launch your new brand out in the wild. When completed, you will have a clear, cohesive and effective brand identity that reveals the heart of your business, which will naturally captivate your audience and convert them to customers.
